This Table Chef Grill XL enables you to fry
or grill food without using fat.
The Table Chef Grill XL is equipped with a
grill plate with a non-stick coating and a
thermostat that maintains the grill plate at
the required temperature.
The appliance is made splash proof and is
therefore suitable for outdoor use.
The appliance is extremely simple to use;
all you need to do is connect the appliance
to a mains power supply. Once the
appliance has heated up, you put the food
on the grill plate.
Operation and
controls
See Figure 1.
The appliance is equipped with the
following features:
1 Ribbed section of the grill plate
2 Flat section of the grill plate
3 Grip
4 Wooden or plastic spatula
5 Power cord with plug
6 Thermostat with dial and temperature
indication light
Before first use
1 Take the appliance out of the
packaging.
2 Make sure that the mains voltage is the
same as that indicated on the type plate
on the appliance.
3 Clean the appliance. See 'Maintenance
and cleaning'.
Use
• The temperature of accessible
surfaces may be high when the
appliance is operating.
1 Place the appliance on a flat, stable
surface where it cannot fall.
2 Prepare the ingredients.
3 Plug the thermostat in the appliance's
socket.
4 Put the plug into an earthed wall socket.
5 Adjust the thermostat dial to the
required temperature.
6 Allow the appliance to heat up. When
the temperature light has extinguished,
the grill plate has reached the required
temperature.
7 Put the food on the appliance.
8 Use the spatula to turn the food over
during frying and grilling.
9 When ready, remove the food from the
appliance.
Put the food on a plate and add sauce
and/or spices to suit your taste.
Eat tastily.
10 Repeat steps 7 till 9 until you have
eaten sufficiently.
11 Clean the appliance thoroughly after
use (see 'Maintenance and cleaning').
Tips
• Small pieces will cook better – and more
quickly – than large pieces.
• Adjust the thermostat setting to suit the
ingredients; experiment with the cooking
time and temperature required to
achieve the best results.
• Hot grease can splash from the
appliance towards users when the
thermostat is set higher than 165 °C.
• The appliance is suitable for outdoor
use.
• Never allow the power cord to hang
over the edge of the draining board,
worktop or table.
• Use an earthed wall socket.
