VIDEO/AUX JACKS
Sound signals can be input to this unit through
the jacks.
Use a cable with RCA phono plugs to connect
audio equipment
(turntables,
LD players with analog output jacks, VCRs, etc.).
Connect
the red plug to the R jack, and the white plug to the L
jack.
When
connecting
a turntable
Use an Aiwa turntable
equipped
with a built-in equalizer
amplifier.
SUPER WOOFER JACK
Connect
an optional powered sub woofer with a built-in-amplifier
to the jack.
DC JACK (12 V)
Connect
the Aiwa DCW-50
car battery
cord to the jack. Then
connect
the other end to the cigarette
lighter socket of the car.
When the unit is used with the car battery cord, the clock does
not operate.
c After switching
from DC voltage to AC voltage, the current time
must be set again.
Use the Aiwa DCW-50
car battery cord only.
When operating
on car battery (DC 12 V), the POWER
button
on the remote
control
does not operate.
Press the POWER
button on the unit to turn the unit on. After the power is turned
on, the remote control is operational.

To play equipment
connected
to the VI DEO/AUX
jacks, proceed
as follows.
