FITTING
1.
Lower spare wheel to improve access. Remove the 4 bolts securing the bumper arms to vehicle chassis.
Loosely attach Mainframe (A) to vehicle chassis using Bolts (D) with Flat Washers positioned each side of
chassis at forward holes. Note on models not fitted with a towing eye on the right hand side – Flat Washer (D) is
not required as a spacer but should be fitted on the outside face of chassis with remaining Washers (D).

Fully tighten all bolts and refit spare wheel.
Note: This towbar is EC type approved to be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z1X) or Class A50-1 or A50-X
towball dimensionally conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar. These towballs can
also be used in conjunction with Adjustable Height Coupling (part number Z52B) (Not to be used to increase ball height), drop
plates giving a ball height reduction of up to 75mm or coupling spacers of up to 50mm.
This towbar is also EC type approved for use with Witter combination 'Pin & Ball' units our part no. Z32 (Dixon Bate part no.
02014) or Z6 (Bradley part no. U352L) and Bradley heavy duty ball and autojaw (Bradley part no. AJ352L).
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm , M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
