MATERIALS
A 1 Tubular Mainframe
C 1 Centre part with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
D 4 M10 x 1.5 Nyloc Nuts and Large Flat Washers (40mm O.D.)
D1 2 Straps with captive bolts (M10 Coach Bolt, 14mm Flat Washer (27mm O.D.) and Flange Nut.)
E 2 M16 x 40mm Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
F 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
CB 2 M16 x 50mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers
FITTING
1. No need to cut the bumper. Remove the bumper (2 tip nuts and 2 plastic tip plugs. 2 plastic plugs on the lower
edge and 5 plugs on the top edge of the bumper. Disconnect the two light looms). Remove and discard the bolt
on bumper beam. Lower the rear exhaust silencer from the rear rubber and temporarily remove the exhaust
heat shield. Cut the inner bumper tag as shown.
2. (Assemble Straps with Captive Bolts(D1)). Insert Tubular Mainframe into the open ends of the chassis and
loosely attach using Straps with captive bolts (D1) and nuts (D).
3. Loosely attach Centre part (C) using Bolts (E). Tighten all Bolts.
4. Refit the exhaust, heat shield, bumper and reconnect the light loom.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm , M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
