Installation
The BUS expansion module can be hooked onto the DIN rail where present on the
operator, or inserted inside a 503 junction box.
Electrical connections
BUS terminal block
Connect the BUS terminal block on the I/O module with the terminal block on the control
panel. *
Up to two I/O modules can be connected. **
(*) Use a FROR cable 2 x 1 mm, maximum length 50 m from the control panel.
Do not use a shielded cable.
(**) Set DIP switch 1 to ON on the second module.
Leave DIP switch 2 set to OFF on both modules.
Check the maximum CXN load in the control panel manual.
Terminal block In1-C and In2-C
Inputs (In1-C) and (In2-C) can be confi gured for connecting control devices (NO) or STOP
devices (NC), or for sensitive edges with 8K2 resistance.
Terminal block Out1 and Out2
Output (Out1) can be connected to an LED light or external relay (12V - 30mA max). The
output can be confi gured as a passage-open warning light, cycle light or courtesy light.
Output (Out2) is a relay output (24V - 500mA) and can be confi gured as monostable on a
timer, bistable or as a passage-open warning light.
