1. Savety Regulations
1.1 In General
Anyone assigned to commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair
on the user's farm must have read and understood the operating
instructions and in particular the chapter on safety. We recommend
producing internal instructions which take the known professional
qualifications of the respective assigned operator into consideration.
Receipt of the instructions and the operating instructions or par-
ticipation in training should also be confirmed in writing.
Safety-conscious Work:
The machine may only be operated, maintained and repaired by trained
and authorised personnel.
Responsibilities for the different activities during operation, repair or
maintenance of the machine should be clearly assigned and observed
to avoid confusion. The guidelines and advice contained in the operating
instructions should be observed during any commis-sioning, mainten-
ance, inspection or repair work.
Safety information for the user and/or the operating personnel:
• Avoid any work method which may affect the safety of the machine.
• The operator must make sure that no unauthorised persons work
with or on the machine.
• The operator is obliged to check safety-relevant parts, for example,
protection equipment before starting operation and, if there are any
faults, rectify them before starting operation.
• Safety equipment must not be removed or deactivated (there is
otherwise a risk of serious injury).
• If safety equipment needs to be removed during repair work, it must
be replaced once the repairs have been completed.
• Maintenance and inspection work or repairs may only be carried out
by trained personnel while the machine is switched off.
• The machine must be disconnected from the power supply before
repair, maintenance or inspection work is started.
These operating instructions should be read carefully and heeded
before commissioning and operation of the machine. Not observing
individual points in the operating instructions could lead to injuries and
damage. The machine may only be operated with equipment and spare
parts supplied with the machine or listed in the spare parts list.
Additional equipment must be suitable for the basic unit (safety and
operability) - consult the manufacturer.
