CIRCUIT BREAKER ALARM - FUNCTION EXPLICATION - REACTIVATION
The circuit breaker is a thermal protection which affects the current absorbed by the
During "normal" operation of the fountain with fluid chocolate and a temperature around
90 ° C -120 ° C, the motor constantly absorbs 1.4 to 1.8 A (even below its 2A standard
absorption). The motor of the fountain can resist even to absorptions of 5-6A but clearly
for a temporary and a non-continuing work and its regualar absorption when working is
always below 2A. The circuit breaker has been calibrated for a continuing absorption up
to 3A and when the motor tries over this limit (3A), the circuit breaker is released and the
motor stops avoiding the continuing effort that may damage the motor.
However, the activation of the circuit breaker is a signal users should note,
because it means that the fountain is not working optimally. This can be due
to different factors, like for example a not perfectly fluid chocolate or lumps in the tower
where the auger turns or a too cold room temperature. All these eventualities may lead
to an excessive effort for the motor.
What to do if the circuit breaker enters in function?
Users do not have to do anything but wait a short time and reset the circuit breaker but-
ton: wait a few minutes and press this little button to reset and allow the motor to run.
