ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE
ATTENTION: before any maintenance or service work on the device, disconnect the
plug from the power socket! Work on the blade in protective gloves.
The delivered device is almost completely assembled, only 2 elements need to be
fixed: one of the walls of the guide for the workpiece (E) and the lever for adjusting
the length of the cut piece (I). In both cases, these elements must be screwed into
their proper place.
IMPORTANT: before first use, degrease the blade (it can be lubricated for
maintenance during transport) with a cloth soaked in, for example, isopropyl
alcohol. Working with a greasy blade is dangerous as it may slip off the workpiece.
• To dismantle and/or degrease the blade:
a) Position the cutting unit vertically by pulling the lock (K) to release it, then
loosen the screws on the back of the blade housing and remove the blade
housing.
b) On the other side of the blade unit, turn the blade tensioning lever clockwise as
far as it will go.
ATTENTION: slowly release the blade tensioning lever with the blade drive
mechanism pointing downwards - risk of the blade falling uncontrolled! Note
the direction in which the blade is installed, i.e. towards which side the blade
teeth have moved.
