Dear Customer,
The following safety information is intended not only for the protection of your health but also for
the protection of the device. Please read the following items carefully:
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and
approval reasons (CE).
• This device is a protection class II product. Only a proper mains socket (100 - 240 V/AC,
50 - 60 Hz) of the public supply net must be used as voltage source.
• The mains socket for the mains cable must be close to the device and easily accessible. This
way, the device can be disconnected from the power supply quickly and easily in case of error.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands! There is a risk of potentially fatal electric
shock!
• Do not pull the plug-in mains adapter from the mains socket by pulling the cable.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under
mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or
cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged
mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock. Place all cables so that no one can trip over
them.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains socket
(e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the mains
socket. Separate the mains cable from the device. Never use the product if the mains cable is
damaged.
• The product is maintenance-free for you. Servicing or repair must only be carried out by a
specialist or specialist workshop. The product contains no parts that require servicing by you.
Therefore, do not open it.
• The product is only suitable for dry, closed rooms. Do not expose it to direct sunlight, heat,
cold, dampness or wetness; otherwise, it will be damaged.
• Never pour liquids on electrical devices and do not place any containers filled with liquids (e.g.
vases) on them. There is great danger of fire or potentially fatal electric shock. If this is the
case, first power down the respective mains socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker) and then
pull the mains cable from the socket. Disconnect all cables from the device. Do not operate the
product anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not place any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on the device.
• Handle the product with care. It can be damaged by impact, blows or when dropped even from
a low height.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children. Children cannot judge the dangers invol-
ved when handling electrical devices.
