2. Use a no. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw from the breakaway proximity switch.
3. Use a 3/16-inch Allen wrench to remove the 4 screws that hold the steel breakaway plate to the lifter. Carefully
remove the steel plate by feeding the proximity switch through the hole in the plate.

4. Use a 1.5 mm Allen wrench to remove the 5 screws that secure the cover plate to the wire chase.
5. Use a no. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw from the end of the caterpillar track. Thread the track out of the
bottom of the lifter (to straighten out the track). Be careful not to kink or overextend the track.
6. Remove the connector from the end of the wire. Use a tiny screwdriver or sharp object to slightly depress the locking
tab on each contact so that it slides out of the housing.
7. Cut the 2 cable ties holding the wire to the back plate.
8. Remove the wire from the wire chase and unthread it from the track.
9. Reverse the order of the steps for reassembly. Re-pin the connector as shown below:
