Introduction
Purpose
This field service bulletin provides information necessary to disassemble and reassemble the Hypertherm Sensor™
Plasma Height Control (PHC) Lifter to replace any of the parts listed below.
Tools and materials needed
1.5 mm through 5 mm Allen wrenches
7/64-inch and 3/16-inch Allen wrenches
3/16-inch nut driver
Snap ring pliers
Flat-blade screwdriver
No. 1 Phillips screwdriver
Lubricant such as Mobil 1 Synthetic or Mobilith SHC 220
12 mm wrench
4-inch cable ties (2)

Coupling: PHC lifter
Ohmic contact wire
Assembly: PCB lifter interface
Assembly: magnetic breakaway
Breakaway sensor and cable
Upper cover with fasteners
Lower cover with fasteners
Silicone end stop with fastener
Ball screw, 2 mm pitch, with nut and bearings
