6 . Use
Refer t o t he illust rat ions on page 2 of t his m anual.
•
Connect t he device t o t he m ains [ 6 ] and flick t he power swit ch [ 7 ] at t he back of t he device t o ON.
Aft er t he warm - up t im e ( approx. 4 m inut es) t he device is ready for use. The red indicat or light [ 4 b]
is now lit .
•
Act ivat e/ deact ivat e t he sm oke out put wit h t he push but t on [ 4 a ] .
•
I t m ay happen t hat t he st andby lam p on t he cont roller [ 4 ] is off and t he sm oke em ission st ops, even
while you are holding t he but t on. I n t his case t he device is warm ing up again and will be ready t o
resum e operat ion in a few m inut es' t im e. This process guarant ees an appropriat e vaporisat ion
t em perat ure and t he best sm oke em ission possible.
7 . Cle a n in g a n d M a in t e n a n ce
1.
All screws should be t ight ened and free of corrosion.
2.
Mechanically m oving part s m ust not show any signs of wear and t ear.
3.
The elect ric power supply cables m ust not show any dam age. Have a qualified t echnician m aint ain
t he device.
4.
Disconnect t he device from t he m ains prior t o m aint enance act ivit ies.
5.
Wipe t he device regularly wit h a m oist , lint - free clot h. Do not use alcohol or solvent s.
6.
There are no user- serviceable part s, apart from t he fuse ( see " 5 . I nst a lla t ion" ) .
7.
Cont act your dealer for spare part s if necessary.
8.
Clean t he heat ing elem ent aft er every 30 hours of use wit h a special cleaning liquid available from
your dealer. Fill t he t ank wit h t he cleaning liquid and let t he m achine run for a while. When t he
device is cleaned, rem ove t he rem aining cleaning liquid and rinse t he t ank t horoughly wit h dist illed
wat er. Never use regular wat er for cleaning or rinsing!
