22. Maintenance and cleaning
Use a clean, dry and soft cloth to clean the device. For more resistant dirt, you can
moisten the cloth with lukewarm water.
Clean the product very carefully, you may otherwise scratch it.
23. Disposal
a) General
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
The end user is legally obliged (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries and
rechargeable batteries. Disposal in the household rubbish is prohibited.
Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with the
symbols shown to the left. These symbols indicate that disposal of
these batteries in the household waste is prohibited. The heavy
metals concerned are Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cell batter-
ies free of charge at the official collection points of your community, in
our stores, or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cell bat-
teries are sold!
You will thus carry out your legal obligations and contribute to the protection of our
environment!
