17. Temperature function
Press the "°C/°F, WAVE" button (2) to set the temperature display format (°C
or °F).
18. Reception of DCF time code
The integrated radio clock receives the DCF time code every hour (when reception
is good). You can also manually make the clock search for the time code. Hold
down the "°C/°F, WAVE" button (2) for 3 seconds. The radio signal is received with-
in 3 to 5 minutes (under favourable conditions). When the signal is received, this
symbol is displayed:
19. Setting the alarm signal (MP3 or buzzer)
Set the alarm signal (MP3 or buzzer) by putting the slide switch on the bottom of the
casing in the "MP3 ALARM" position or the "BUZZER ALARM" position.
If you intend to use an MP3 file to be played as the alarm signal,
make sure that your SD card is inserted correctly into the SD
card slot (9).
20. MP3 player functions
To use the MP3 player function, an SD card (max. 2 GB) must be
inserted in the SD card slot (9).
In addition, the slide switch on the bottom of the casing must be
in the "MP3" position.
