• Warning: To avoid a fire or electric shock, check all ratings and labels on the
product. Before connecting the product, refer to the User Manual for more
information on ratings. When the oscilloscope input signal connection is more
than 42 V peak (30 Vrms) or on circuits of more than 4800 VA, please take note
of the following:
- Only use insulated voltage probes and test leads.
- Before use, check all accessories (such as the probes) and replace if there is
suspected damage.
- Remove probes, test leads, USB computer connections and other accessories
immediately after use.
- Do not apply input voltages above the rating of the product, as the probe tip
voltage will be directly transmitted to the oscilloscope. Use with caution when
the probe is set to 1:1.
- Do not use exposed metal BNC or banana plug connectors.
- Do not insert metal objects into the connectors.
• Do not operate the instrument with the covers or panels removed.
• Only use the specified type and rating fuse for the product.
• Do not touch exposed junctions and components when the instrument is
connected to the power source.
• If suspected damage is caused to the product, have it inspected by qualified
service personnel before further use.
• Ensure the product is installed with proper ventilation. Refer to the User Manual
for more information.
• Do not operate the product in wet conditions.
• Do not operate the product in an explosive atmosphere.
• Keep the product surfaces clean and dry.
Care and cleaning
• Do not store or leave the product where the LCD will be exposed to direct sunlight for long
periods of time.
• Before cleaning the product, switch it off and disconnect it from the mains cable, USB cable
and the measured object.
Opening covers on the product or removing parts that cannot be removed by hand
may expose voltage-carrying components. Before cleaning or repairing the device,
turn it off and disconnect all cables.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these
could damage the housing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Wipe any dust from the instrument and probe surface with a soft cloth. Do not scuff the
transparent screen protector when cleaning the LCD.
• Use a wet, soft cloth not dripping water to clean the product and the measurement cables.
• Caution: To avoid damage to the instrument or probe, do not expose it to any sprays,
liquids or solvents.
• Warning: Before powering on the product after cleaning, ensure that all components are
properly dried before use.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be placed in household
waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
