product corresponds to the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• Never unplug the mains plug by pulling on the cable. Always use the grips on
the plug.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not plan to use the product
for an extended period of time.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket during
thunderstorms.
• Ensure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or
subjected to mechanical stress. Avoid excess thermal stress on the mains cable
due to excessive heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Failure to adhere
to these instructions may lead to damage of the mains cable. A damaged mains
cable can cause a fatal electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if there are any signs of damage. Power down
the respective mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit breaker), and then
carefully unplug the mains plug from the mains socket. Never use the product if
the mains cable is damaged.

• Warning: The four channels of the oscilloscope are not electrically isolated. The
channels should adopt a common ground during measurement. To prevent short
circuits, the two probe grounds must not be connected to different non-isolated
DC levels. The oscilloscope ground wire should be connected as follows:
Probe
Signal
Input
Ground Clip
• AC power cannot be measured when the AC-powered oscilloscope is connected
to an AC-powered PC through the ports.
• Only use the supplied power adapter that is certified for use in your country.
• When the probe or test lead is connected to a voltage source, do not connect or
disconnect the probe or test lead at random.
• This instrument is grounded through the power adapter grounding conductor. To
avoid an electric shock, the grounding conductor must be grounded. The product
must be grounded properly before being connected to its input or output terminal.
• When powered by an AC power source, the AC power source cannot be
measured directly, as the testing ground and power adapter ground conductor
are connected, and this would cause a short circuit.
