When the cable is connected, the wiring indicator (2) lights up. Otherwise,
the display will remain dark.
•
Press TEST again (4) to end the test.
•
Press the key (14) to change the scanning speed during the test.
Note:
If the cable is disconnected from the switch box during the test, the LEDs will
continue to light up until the test is completed.
9. Maintenance
Only authorized service technicians may repair the instrument.
If the instrument is malfunctioning, please test:
- Battery condition and polarity
- Condition of the fuse(s) if available.
- Condition of the test leads.
Changing the battery(s)
Attention!
Always switch off the appliance before opening the device to exchange
the battery or the fuse.

If the power indicator (7) is flashing, replace the batteries.
•
Open the battery or fuse compartment with a suitable screwdriver.
•
Replace the battery. Mind the correct polarity.
•
Close the battery compartment.
•
Disposal of the flat battery should meet environmental standards.
