Drying
When manually selecting settings for drying (dehydrating), the time setting changes in steps of 1 hour.
Use [DEHYDRATE] for fresh, ripe fruit to preserve nutrients and intensify flavour.
During drying, the temperature is approximately 55 °C and a fan ensures a continuous air flow.
For an even dehydration, you must regularly turn the products.
Vegetables and fruit are only turned halfway the dehydration process. Rinse vegetables and fruit properly clean and cut fruit into
slices just over half a centimetre thick. Do make sure that the slices do not make contact. In this way you can make sure that the
air flow makes contact with all surfaces.
When using one basket
1.
Insert the plug into the socket.
2.
Press [STANDBY].
3.
Select [L] or [R].
4.
Select a preparation method ([AIR FRY], [ROAST], [BROIL] etc.).
5.
If required, change the temperature using [+] or [-] on the left side of the control panel.
6.
If required, change the time using [+] or [-] on the right side of the control panel.
7.
Press [START/PAUSE] to start the cooking process.
When using two baskets with the same settings.
1.
Insert the plug in the socket.
2.
Press [STANDBY].
3.
Select [DUAL].
4.
Select a preparation method ([AIR FRY], [ROAST], [BROIL] etc.).
5.
If required, change the temperature using [+] or [-] on the left side of the control panel.
6.
If required, change the time using [+] or [-] on the right side of the control panel.
7.
Press [START/PAUSE] to start the cooking process.
When using two baskets with different settings
1.
Insert the plug into the socket.
2.
Press [STANDBY].
3.
Select [L].
4.
Select a preparation method ([AIR FRY], [ROAST], [BROIL] etc.).
5.
If required, change the temperature using [+] or [-] on the left side of the control panel.
6.
If required, change the time using [+] or [-] on the right side of the control panel.
7.
Select [R].
8.
Select a preparation method ([AIR FRY], [ROAST], [BROIL] etc.).
9.
If required, change the temperature using [+] or [-] on the left side of the control panel.
10. If required, change the time using [+] or [-] on the right side of the control panel.
11. If you want the cooking process in both baskets to be ready at the same time, press [SYNC].
12. Press [START/PAUSE] to start the cooking process.
