Replacing the PTO-Drive
Belt
Service Interval: Every 50 hours—Check the
PTO-drive belt.
1.
Park the machine on a level surface, disengage
the blade-control switch, and engage the parking
brake.
2.
Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
3.
Loosen the front engine panel knobs and
remove the panel

Remove the spring from the idler arm

Remove the clutch stop bracket.
6.
Remove the old PTO-drive belt.
7.
Install the PTO-drive belt around the clutch
pulley and the gearbox pulley
8.
Intall the rubber clutch stop.
9.
Install the spring to the idler arm
