FIG 2A
Right
Apron
2. Two pilot holes will need to be drilled into the front right corner of the aprons. To gauge the
correct depth of each hole, set up the Drill Bit (B) in the drill chuck with approximately 2" sticking
out. You can use the narrowest line of the Wood Jig (A) to make this measurement. See FIGURE
2A.
Align the Wood Jig (A) in the front right corner of the aprons as shown in FIGURE 2B and 2C.
Make sure the holes in the Wood Jig (A) are towards the Front Apron and the angled surface of
the jig (that has a black line) is facing and against the inside surface of the Right Apron.
IMPORTANT: The inside bottom corner of the Wood Jig (A) needs to be flush to the bottom
edge of the Right Apron. See FIGURE 2C for precise location.
Hold the Wood Jig (A) tightly in the corner and insert the Drill Bit (B) into each hole and drill each
pilot hole into the stool frame until the drill chuck contacts the wood jig.
3. Remove the Wood Jig (A)
and drive a #8 x 1 1/4" Flat
Head Screw (C) into each
of the pilot holes. See
FIGURE 3.
