9. Align the Wood Jig (A) in the corner where the Right Stretcher connects to the Back Right Leg.
See FIGURES 9A and 9B. Make sure the holes in the Wood Jig (A) are towards the Right Back
Leg and the angled surface of the jig (that has a black line) is facing and against the bottom of
the Right Stretcher.
IMPORTANT: The outside corner of the Wood Jig (A) needs to be flush to the outside edge
of the Right Stretcher. See FIGURE 9B for precise location.
Hold the Wood Jig (A) tightly in place and insert the Drill Bit (B) into the hole that should be cen-
tered on the Back Right Leg. Drill a pilot hole into the leg. Drill the same 2 1/2" depth as done in
Step 7.
10. Remove the Wood Jig (A) and drive a
#8 x 2" Flat Head Screw (D) into each of the
pilot hole. See FIGURE 10.
11. Repeat Steps 7 – 10 for the front and back left
stretcher corners. Make sure the angled edge
of the Wood Jig (A), with the black stripe, is
always facing and against the Left Stretcher.
