Function Action
Scan button The button initiates a scan if the document is detected in the feeder.
NOTE: Scan button will only work with HP WorkScan software which can be
downloaded at hpworksolution.com/setup.
Power button Press to power on.
Ready to scan or scan is in progress.
Press & hold for 5 seconds to power off.
Sleep mode.
USB connecting Allow the scanner to connect to the USB.
USB connected Connection with the computer is established.
Calibration The scanner is unable to scan documents at this time.
Calibration failure Something went wrong. Try calibrating again.
Paper jam Open the scanner and remove the jam.
