39. Using trim stick C­4755 or equivalent, remove the
steering column trim ring (1).
40. Remove the fasteners from the steering column cover
(2).
41. Remove the fasteners from instrument cluster (1).
42. Remove the left hand instrument panel end cap.
43. Remove the left hand instrument panel hush panel.
44. Remove the three fasteners securing the lower por­
tion of the steering column cover (1) to the instrument
panel.
45. Using trim stick C­4755 or equivalent, separate the up­
per portion of the steering column cover (1) and dis­
connect the light switch harnesses.
46. Remove the hood latch handle assembly from the
steering column cover (1).
47. Remove the steering column cover (1).
48. Remove the instrument knee blocker reinforcement.
