5.7. Test and MAINTENANCE status
This state is automatically activated on the first feed by pressing the RESET button
and whenever the container is opened. The status of "TEST and SERVICE" ceases
when the container is closed. A 15-second timing at both the opening and closing
of the container avoids the possibility of sabotage of the apparatus.
During this state, indicated by the flashing every 3 seconds of the BLUE led, the
activation of the smoke detector is not allowed and the alarm on the clamp
"SMOKE DETECTOR" activates for 3 seconds the sound of the siren combined
with the continuous flashing of the red LED. The same thing happens with the
activation on the input terminal of the "SIREN"; in this case the modulated sound
is kept for 3 seconds. Using this feature, you can test the connections between
alarm plant and smoke bomb excluding the risk of activating the smoke generator.
The following time diagram shows the state behaviour of "TEST and SERVICE".
