5.2. Programming siren sound duration
Device programming
NI-100UN device functions can be configured by setting dip-switches on the
circuit. The following are descriptions of the various configuration parameters.
ATTENTION!
Configuration parameters are read during the RESET
phase or at the time the device is powered.
Both the smoke detector activation input and the siren can be programmed to
achieve maximum compatibility with all existing alarm plants.
In particular, the combination of the Terminating Input switches with the Polarity
switch (unique for both inputs) allow the following startup types:

Both inputs have a filter against noise on the row link and the function is activated
only if the startup state remains for at least 1 second.
The sound time of the piezoelectric siren can be programmed via the SW4 switch
of the Siren Time according to the following table:
