– This appliance is designed for domes-
tic and not commercial use.
– Only connect and operate the
applicance in accordance with the
specifications on the rating label.
– Do not use your TASSIMO machine if
either the power cord or the applicance
is damaged.
– Use indoors at room temperature
only. Do not use more than 6560 feet /
2000 meters above sea level.
– Do not let children or persons with
reduced mental or sensory abilities or
limited knowledge and experience use
the appliance, unless they are super-
vised or have been instructed in the
use of the appliance by a person who is
responsible for their safety.
– Supervise children to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
– In the event of a malfunction, unplug
the appliance immediately.
– To avoid potential hazards, repairs such
as replacing a damaged cord should
only be performed by our service per-
sonnel.
– Never immerse the appliance or power
cord in water.
– Please read this instruction manual
and the short cleaning/descaling pro-
gram instructions carefully and keep

Warning
To reduce risk of fire and electric
shock:
– Do not remove the side covers. No
user serviceable parts inside.
– Repairs should only be carried out by
authorized service personnel.
– Do not immerse in any liquid.

CauTiOn
To avoid the risk of scalding:
– Never open the brewing unit during
the brewing, cleaning or descaling
process. Doing so could damage the
brewer and scalding may occur.
– Always wait for the orange light to dis-
play before opening the brewing unit.
– Please note that the beverages are
very hot when dispensed.
– Please exercise caution when open-
ing the brewing unit and handling the
T DISCs, as some pressure may be
released and T DISCs can be hot to
the touch.
– Do not use chemically softened water!
Doing so could cause excess pressure
and damage to T DISC, which could
re sult in injury if brewer is opened be-
fore orange light displays.
– Do not use T DISCs more than once
– Do not use damaged T DISCs
