You must switch off the airbag before charging it (see page 31).

Access the CDU electronic card located in the hump.

Connect the charging cable from the CDU electronic card to the supplied the USB
charging cable, then to the standard USB charger (5 VDC) not supplied. You must
use an IEC 62368-1 / EN-62368-1 / UL62368-1 / CSA62368-1 certified USB charger.
Electrical characteristics : 5 VDC

When charging is complete, unplug and replace the elements correctly in the
hump.
CAUTION
•
Do not use a fast charge charger as this could damage the electronic system.
•
Never connect to the airbag an electrical device or an external battery with a voltage
of more than 5VDC.
•
The charging time, between 5h and 12h, varies according to the charging
conditions.
•
During charging, the airbag is not functional. You must not recharge it while riding.
•
Recharge the airbag indoors, at temperatures between 0°C (32°F) and 45°C
(113°F). It should not be near flammable surfaces or objects, or in direct sunlight.

The LED flashes orange + 3
beeps when you switch the
airbag on/off.
Battery is charging
The LED turns orange

Recharge the airbag,
2 h of battery remaining.
