3.4. Operating modes
There are several operating modes available. Below you will find an overview of all operating modes and their function. See § 4.1 for information about programming an operating mode.
Operating mode
Description
ON/OFF
The output is switched ON and OFF in 1- or 2-button operation
I/O
If the transmitter button is pressed for longer than 1.6 s when using 1TB, all outputs paired with the transmitter will be switched off
0
PULSE
When a transmitter button is pressed, the output is activated for the duration of time specified in the operating mode.
Note: This is only possible with in 1-button mode. In 2-button mode, both buttons trigger the same operation
1 s
Output is activated for 1.0 seconds
1
TIMER
The length of the switching time is permanently programmed. The output switches ON for the duration of the selected time
The switching time can be retriggered (retrig). Each new keystroke, before the time has expired, starts the switching time again
3 min
Switch-off after 3 minutes without shutdown warning
2
7 min
Switch-off after 7 minutes with shutdown warning*
3
* The shutdown procedure (!) is indicated as follows. 30 seconds before the end, the output switches OFF 1x briefly and then back ON. 15 seconds before the end, the output switches OFF 2x briefly then back ON. Note:
When using energy-saving lamps, a shutdown warning is not possible and using this function can result in damage to the lamp
TIMER
The length of the switching time can be set for each transmitter or channel
(programmable)
Individual
The length of the switching time can be set by the operator. Each transmitter can have its own switching time. The switching time
4
that has been set for a transmitter can only be changed by reprogramming. The factory setting is 15 minutes switching time without
shutdown warning. The timer can be retriggered. Switching time min: 1 s max: 16:40 h shutdown warning optional
Global
The length of the switching time can be set by the operator. Each channel can have its own switching time. The programmed
5
switching time applies to all transmitters of the respective channel (in this operating mode). If the switching time is changed, the
changes also affect transmitters that have already been programmed. The factory setting is 15 minutes switching time without
shutdown warning. The timer can be retriggered. Switching time min: 1s max: 16: 40h shutdown warning optional
PUSH BUTTON
The output is active for as long as the transmitter button is held down
max. 36 s Switches OFF when the button is released or automatically after 10 or 36 seconds (depending on the type of Easywave switch)
6
LOGIC
All programmed transmission codes are combined according to an AND / OR logic. (only possible in 2-button operation)
Logic
The Logic operating mode is subordinate to all other operating modes. Therefore, this operating mode does not function when a command is sent from a paired transmitter. ALL other operating modes
7
must be OFF. If a different operating mode switches ON, LOGIC cannot switch OFF. Switching a different operating mode OFF while LOGIC is ON resets the LOGIC function. However, it can be started
again at any time.
• OR relationship: if one of the programmed transmitters sends an A telegram (ON), the output switches on.
• AND relationship: if all of the programmed transmitters which previously sent an A, sent a B telegram (OFF), the output switches off
4. PROGRAMMING
4.1. Programming a transmitter code
Note: If a previously programmed transmitter is programmed again in the same output, the previous operating
mode is overwritten with the new operating mode. 32 transmission codes can be programmed per output.

4.2. Programming the TIMER
The switching times for operating modes 4 and 5 can be set individually for each output. The switching time
is calculated using the base time measured during programming and the multiplier for the selected operating
mode. The maximum base time is 60 seconds. After this time the measurement will stop automatically and you
will be asked to set the multiplier.
4
4.2.1. INDIVIDUAL TIMER (
)
The set switching time applies individually to transmitters programmed in this operating mode. The last set
switching time is saved and used when programming a transmitter code.
It is possible to assign different switching times to different transmitters (e.g. transmitter 1: 10 s, transmitter 2:
99 s.). However, this kind of programming will only work if the following programming steps are followed: (see
table). The switching time assigned to a transmitter can only be changed by reprogramming the transmitter.
Step
Operation
1
Program the timer (see § 4.2.3)
2
Assign the transmitter to the set timer (see § 4.1)
5
4.2.2. GLOBAL TIMER (
)
The set switching time applies globally to all transmitters that have been assigned to a channel. The last set
switching time is also used for transmitters that have already been programmed.
