Vertical application
Caution! Power tool may be
damaged!
If using the power tool vertically, ensure that
the compensator clamp (10) is locked.
Note
If used vertically, the power tool does not
undergo a self-levelling process. Align the
power tool with the vertical spirit level (5).
n Insert the adapters for vertical
application (15) into the housing
borehole.
n Attach the power tool with the handle (9)
to the wall and floor support (16).
The tip of the adapter (15) must be
situated approx. in the middle of the
indentation in the wall and floor support.
n Align the power tool with the aid of the
vertical spirit level (5) by rotating the
adjusting screw on the floor adapter
(15a). The bubble in the spirit level must
be situated exactly in the middle
between the marks.
n Switch on the power tool.
The beam begins to rotate.
The LEDs (4, 6) light up permanently.

Using the power tool with receiver
The receiver supplied with the power tool
increases the range of the ALR and
improves operation in poor light conditions.

for poor light conditions
There are 2 methods of attaching the
receiver.
– with a magnet on the metallic surfaces
– with a retaining clamp on the telescopic
or levelling rod, etc.
n Attach the receiver to the retaining
clamp with the knurled screw.
n Attach the retaining clamp to the
telescopic or levelling rod with the
clamping screw.
n Align the levelling rod with the aid of the
spirit level (19) installed in the receiver.
