Rotational laser
Mains mode
The power tool can continue to be used with
the battery charger in mains mode. To do
this, connect the battery charger as
described above.
Using batteries in the power tool
One of the accessories included with the
power tool is a battery housing which can
be used instead of the battery pack.
Required batteries:
– 4 x type D / 1.5 V
Note
When the battery housing is installed,
mains mode is not possible.
Batteries for the remote control
Note
The button configuration on the remote control
corresponds to the buttons on the ALR.
The power tool can only be switched off
with the remote control.
Required batteries:
– 1 x 9 V-unit.
n Push down and remove the battery
compartment cover from the remote
control.
n Insert the 9 V unit as indicated.
n Close the battery compartment cover.

Batteries for the receiver
Required batteries:
– 2 x type AA / 1.5 V.
n Unscrew the battery compartment cover
on the receiver in an anti-clockwise
direction.
n Insert the batteries as indicated.
n Screw on the battery compartment cover
in a clockwise direction.
Switching the power tool
on and off
Switching on the power tool:
n Press the On/Off button on the power
tool.
Switching off the power tool:
n Press the On/Off button on the
power tool or
Press the Off button on the remote
control.
Note
When switched on, the power tool always
starts in the "rotating laser beam" operating
mode.
Changing the speed of rotation
To reduce the speed of rotation in "rotating
laser beam" standard operating mode:
n Press and hold down the arrow button t
(2) on the power tool or on the remote
control until the beam is rotating at the
required speed.
To increase the speed of rotation:
n Press and hold down the arrow button s
(2) on the power tool or on the remote
control until the beam is rotating at the
required speed.
