BURNING WEEDS
The GROUW weed burner is an
environmentally friendly and non-toxic
method for removing unsightly weeds from
all patios, driveways, footpaths, etc.
This product is not intended for use on lawns
and ower beds.
When the ame is used on weeds that need
to be removed, the leaves are dehydrated, so
the weeds dry out.
The weeds must not be burned, but only
heated up with the tip of the ame. Therefore
maintain a reasonable distance from the
plant. For particularly resistant or tree-like
weeds (wild vegetation, plants with taproots,
etc.), it may be necessary to heat the weed
for longer. Repeat treatment may also be
necessary after a few days.
SAFETY MEASURES
The weed burner must be used outdoors at a
safe distance from any ammable material.
Always hold the nozzle facing downwards
to avoid ame-up. If this happens, hold the
weed burner still in a vertical position for a
few seconds.
Warning! There may be a danger of re
in very dry conditions. Never leave the
weed burner unattended when it is on. It is
dangerous to use damaged appliances. In
the event of irregularities in the supply of
gas, check the content of the gas bottle (see
"Checking the content of the gas bottle").
If there is still gas in the gas bottle, the
problem may be remedied by cleaning the
nozzle (see "Cleaning the nozzle").
SWITCHING OFF
Turn the control valve (5) clockwise until the
valve is completely closed.
