To engage into the vehicle charger for proper charging, the battery requires battery adapter,
PMPN4649_.
The charger uses a microprocessor to sense the type of battery inserted and control the rate of charge
accordingly. A battery is charged at a rapid rate until it is more than 90 % charged and then it trickles
the charge until the battery is more than 95 % charged. The charger then switches to a maintenance
charge mode to keep the battery fully charged.
