new water ilter has not
been rinsed according to
instructions.
Carbonated water in the
water tank.
The grinding setting is too
ine or too coarse, or not
been used.
Brewing unit (5) is soiled.
Too much pre-ground c offee
in the brewing unit (5).
The brewing unit's
mechanism is stiff.
Build-up of limescale in the
appliance.
Drip tray (8) removed too
early.
Brewing unit (5) is missing
or was not recognised.
You changed some settings
and want to discard them.
Solution
Firmly press the water ilter
straight down into the tank
connection.
Insert the water tank c orrectly
or rinse the water ilter accord
ing to i nstructions and then
switch on.
Fill the water tank with fresh
tap water.
Adjust the grinding unit to a
coarser or iner setting, or use
2 level measuring spoons of
ground coffee.
Clean brewing unit (5).
Clean brewing unit (5). Pour in
no more than 2 level measur
ing spoons of ground coffee.
Remove and clean
the brewing unit, see
"Maintenance and
daily cleaning".
Descale the appliance as
described in the instructions.
Wait a few seconds after
the last drink was dispensed
before removing the drip tray
(8).
Switch off the appliance with
the brewing unit (5) in place,
wait three seconds and switch
on the appliance.
Turn off the unit with the power
on/off switch
