Essentially, the water heater does not require any maintenance. It is recommended to remove scale
from the appliance placed in location where water hardness is higher than the average every year
according to the following:
-The water heater should be annealed and the tank should be detached from the cold water
system through closing the close valve.
-Water should be drained from the tank through opening the combined safety valve in a way
that meanwhile, a hot water faucet is opened, then the electric parts should be removed from
the appliance. Then the screws of the close valve have to be loosened and the close cover
removed.
-Scale deposited in the tank in sediment or layered form should be removed and the parts of
the appliances should be thoroughly cleaned. Do not hurt the wall of the tank as it is
equipped with an effective anti-corrosion protection.
-After cleaning, the close cover and the electric parts have to be mounted back with new
sealing, the earthing has to be mounted back and then the connection to the electric system
has to be performed.
After these steps, the process of putting the water heater into operation is the same as if a
-
new water heater was put into operation.
-
Please, connect the appliance to the electric network according to the connection diagram located
both on the bottom sheet and in the usage manual of the appliance. IT IS AT THE RISK OF
DEATH AND THEREFORE IT IS FORBIDDEN to install and operate the appliance without
professional connection of touch protection wire!
It is proposed to apply touch protection relay in the electric network of the establishment to operate
the appliance adequately
Active anodeAs a supplementary accessory, the hot water tank is equipped with an active anode to protect it
against corrosion. The life expectancy of the active anode depends on the conditions of water and operation.
The state of the anode has to be checked during periodic maintenance measures targeting scale removal or at
least in every second year.
The date of repeated check is defined by the repair technician. If the diameter of the anode shrinks to 10 mm
at any points, it has to be replaced. The replacement of the active anode can only be performed by a
contracted service shop (see the commercial warranty!).
After the replacement of the active anode, its earthing has to be set according to its original state. It is
extremely important to ensure a good metal contact between the active anode and the earthing screw.
IN CASE OF NEGLECTING THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS THAT CAUSES DAMAGE TO
SAFETY AND USAGE FEATURES OF THE HOT WATER TANK, YOU LOSE YOUR
GUARANTEE AND WARRANT RIGHTS.
WATER DRAINAGE IN CASE OF DANGER OF FROST
The water has to be drained from the water heater absolutely, if the appliance stays out of operation
at a location, which is exposed to danger of frost. In order to ensure this, the followings have to be
performed:
1. The water heater should be annealed.
2. The inflowing cold water faucet should be closed. .
3. The water heater should be drained with the help of
the safety blow-off button (turning the operation button).
