SETUP
Please check "Technical Data" to find out which connector and voltage adjustment resistor are
required for your notebook computer. If your notebook computer is not listed, consult the rating label
on your notebook AC adaptor for information.
Setting up the output voltage
The voltage adjustment resistors allow you to adjust the output voltage.
(Blue: 16 V/DC / Green: 19 V/DC / Black: 20 V/DC)
Please ensure the correct voltage adjustment resistor is selected for your
notebook before using. Incorrect voltage selection may result in a risk of fire,
injury to persons, or damage to personal property.
1.
Choose the correct voltage adjustment resistor.
2.
Plug the resistor into the resistor socket (2) on the power adaptor. The top side is marked on the
resistor.
3.
You may use pliers for easier removal of the resistor.

Setting up the connector
1.
There are eight types of connectors included. Choose the correct connector by checking with the
power socket on your notebook.
2.
There are "+" and "-" signs on the output power cable (3). Insert the connector to the cable while
taking care of the polarity.
The connector can only fit in to the output power cable in one orientation. Do not force
it in.

Output cable
To ensure secure connection, the connector is designed to be more difficult to
disconnect.
Disconnect the power adaptor from wall outlet and the notebook before replacing
the connector. Always use the grip areas provided when replacing the connector.
Make sure to observe the polarity and magnitude of the output voltage. Incorrect
polarity or excessive voltage input may lead to the damage of the notebook.
Make sure the power consumption of the connected notebook is lower than the
maximum power output for the power adaptor. Otherwise, the power adaptor will
be overloaded.
