To connect to an in-flight power outlet

1. Place the adaptor on a sturdy, non-flammable base, which allows sufficient air circulation for
cooling. Do not place into the airplane seat pocket.
2. To use the in-flight Empower® connector, remove the cigarette plug from the cigarette lighter
power cable. Push down on the two side clamps and pull out the cigarette plug.
3. Insert the Empower® connector firmly to the in-seat notebook power port.
4. Insert the other end of the cable into the adaptor.
5. The green LED light will illuminate to indicate that the adaptor is ready for use.
6. To power your notebook, insert the output cable with the correct connector to your notebook.
7. To power / charge a USB device, insert the device into the USB power socket (1).
8. Unplug and store the cigarette lighter power cable properly when not being used.
Please note that the Empower® system can only offer 75W maximum power to the
Empower® port. If your notebook demands 80W or 90W of power, the Empower®
port might shut down if your power consumption is more than 75W.

7. CLEANING
When cleaning, the power adaptor must be disconnected from mains socket and electrical loads.
Only use dry and soft cloth to clear the housing of the power adaptor. Do not use abrasive or
solvents!

In order to preserve, protect and improve the quality of environment, protect human
health and utilise natural resources prudently and rationally, the user should return
unserviceable product to relevant facilities in accordance with statutory regulations.
The crossed-out wheeled bin indicates the product needs to be disposed separately and
