EN Designated use/Installation
3. Designated use
Only use the commeo Wind Sensor for the control of motors in folding arm awnings.
The commeo Wind Sensor must only be connected with devices and constructions
that are authorized by the manufacturer. The function can only be guaranteed when
using the following motors of company SELVE: • SE Plus-RC
Caution:
• Please note that radio sets cannot be operated in areas with increased risk of inter-
ference (e.g. hospitals, airports).
• The remote control is only permitted for equipment and systems with which a mal-
function in the hand-held transmitter or receiver does not present a risk to persons,
animals or objects, or this risk is covered by other safety devices.
• The operator does not enjoy any protection from disturbances by other remote
signalling equipment and terminal equipment (for example, also by radio sets ope-
rated in the same frequency range in accordance with regulations).
4. Installation
• Ensure that the commeo Wind Sensor is not installed and operated in the vicinity of
metal surfaces or magnetic fields. Metal surfaces or panes of glass with a metallisa-
tion within the transmission path can reduce the range considerably.
• It should be noted that the range of the radio signal is restricted by legislation and
constructional measures.
• Fix the commeo Wind Sensor to the drop profile of the awning. Use screws or con-
nector blocks. (These are not included. Screw holes please see 2.2.).
• The commeo Wind Sensor has to be mounted in a horizontal position, against direct
atmospheric influence (rain, snow), under the drop file
pointing downwards or (see drawing, position 2) on the
internal side of the drop file pointing inwards ( see dra-
wing, position 1.
• Be careful that the commeo Wind Sensor will not be
damaged during retracting and extending the awning.
