Sort the laundry according to the international symbols shown on the labels; if these are
missing, sort according to the type of material.
Start to iron the garments that require a lower temperature so as to reduce idle time (the iron
requires less time to warm up than to cool down) and eliminate the risk of burning the fabric.
Consult the table below for the to select the temperature:
synthetic, acrylic, nylon, polyester: low temperatures;
wool, silk: medium temperatures;
cotton, linen: high temperatures;
do not iron.
1. Make sure the appliance is not connected to the mains.
2. Loosen the safety cap (1) completely and fill the boiler using the funnel (13) supplied
without overflowing.
3. Once complete, tighten the safety cap (1) completely.
Ironing
Connect the plug (8) to a suitable socket.
Press the ON buttons of the iron (6) and the boiler (7). The plate temperature LED (10)
will light up.
Set the iron temperature adjustment knob (12) according to the international symbols
found on the clothing label.
Wait for the LED to go off (10).
Start ironing when the steam (ready) LED (5) lights up. The plate temperature LED
(18) goes on and off intermittently while ironing, thereby indicating that the appliance
maintains the optimal pressure and temperature.
Press the steam button (11) to steam iron.
Turn the steam adjustment knob (4) (if applicable) to set the desired amount of steam.
Dry iron by not pressing the steam button (11).
When the water in the boiler finishes, the iron no longer dispenses steam and the no water
LED (3) lights up:
Switch off the ON buttons of the iron (6) and the boiler (7).
Disconnect the plug (8) from the socket, wait a few minutes and slowly loosen the
safety cap (1), allowing any residual steam to come out from inside the boiler.
Loosen the safety cap (1) completely and wait a few minutes before topping-up the
water.
