STEP 5: POWER UP
Connect HP Generator to HP Electronic Module (Fig. 4), tuck
connection inside box (Fig. 3). Connect battery connection of HP
Electronic Module to driver board/controller. Flip switch #1 to the ON
position (Fig. 4). This allows the HP Electronic Module to send power
to the driver board/controller. Use caution not to damage components
or wires.
Feed all cables through hole at bottom of box #0 (see Fig. 3).
(Fig. 4).
(ver Fig. 3).
STEP 6: OPERATION SET-UP
1.
Ensure the HP Generator is connected to the HP Electronic Module.
Go to Step 2.
2.
Ensure the HP Generator Switch 1 is ON and Switch 2 is OFF. Go
to Step 3.
3.
Ensure the Control Valve is in the full-open position and that there
are no kinked hoses or other restrictions along the inlet supply. All
shut-off valves should be fully opened. Go to Step 4.
4.
Check the aerator for debris and clean if necessary. Go to Step 5.
5.
Activate faucet TWICE for 7 seconds. During the second activation,
look for 1 of 3 conditions with the RED light. If there is no water
flowing, please check the plumbing connections. Go to Step 6.
6a. If a solid red light is visible, go to Step 7.
6b. If no red light is visible, begin to adjust the Control Valve by turning
the handle clockwise. After each handle adjustment, activate the
faucet for 7 seconds and watch for a solid red light. If there is a
blinking red light after adjusting the Control Valve, adjust it counter-
clockwise until there is a solid red light. Go to Step 7 once there is
a solid red light, otherwise contact Delta Faucet Technical Service.
6c. If a blinking red light is visible and the Control Valve is in the full
open position, shut off the water supply and remove the Flow
Restrictor from the HP Adapter (Fig. 5). Re-assemble the HP
Adapter and turn the Control Valve to the full open position. Turn
on the water supply. Activate the faucet for 7 seconds. If a solid
red light is visible, go to Step 7. If a blinking red light or no red
light is visible, begin to adjust the Control Valve by turning the
handle clockwise and counter-clockwise. After each handle
adjustment, activate the faucet for 7 seconds and watch for a solid
red light. If a solid red light is visible, go to Step 7, otherwise
contact Delta Faucet Technical Service.
7.
The HydroPower unit is now set-up for use.
NOTE: If there are fluctuations in the building pressure above 30 PSI flowing after the flow restrictor has been removed from the HP Adapter, the
flow rate from the faucet may exceed 1.5 GPM (5.7 L/min).
