Symbols on the quick/universal charger
Protect the device from moisture.
Store the device in a dry place. Do
not subject the device to rain. The
device is only suitable for indoor
use.
The battery pack is being charged;
the green indicator lamp is flash-
ing.
The battery pack is fully charged;
the green indicator lamp lights up
continuously.
The battery pack or the charger is
defective; the red indicator light
lights up continuously.
The device meets the require-
ments of protection class II.

Charging process
Note
The operating state of the battery pack can be read off
the battery pack display.
The display symbols are described in the battery pack
operating instructions.
If the display does not show anything during charging,
the battery capacity is fully depleted or very low. Display
shows remaining charging time once the battery pack is
sufficiently charged.
1. Plug the mains cable in the mains cable socket.

2. Plug the mains plug into the socket.
3. Push the battery pack into the mounting on the
charger.

The charging process begins automatically.
Indicator light flashes green.
The battery pack display shows the remaining
charging time. The display shows 100% and the in-
dicator lamp lights up green continuously when the
battery pack is fully charged.
4. Remove the battery pack from the charger after
charging.
5. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
Note
The charged battery pack can remain in the charger un-
til it is used. There is no danger of overcharging.
Avoid unnecessary energy consumption and unplug the
charger when the battery pack is fully charged.
Wall attachment
The device is suitable for wall attachment. Information
on the weight of the device is provided in the "Technical
data" chapter.
1. Check the load capacity of the wall before installa-
tion.
2. Keep the mains plug freely accessible. Hole dis-
tance = 66 mm.
Transport and storage
CAUTION
Failure to observe the weight
Risk of injury and damage
Be aware of the weight of the device during transport
and storage.
Only store the device indoors.
Care and service
The device is maintenance-free.
Regularly check the battery terminals for soiling.
Clean dirty battery terminals.
Check the ventilation slits for soiling, clean if neces-
sary.
Occasionally recharge battery packs stored for a
longer period.
Troubleshooting guide
Malfunctions often have simple causes that you can
remedy yourself using the following overview. When in
doubt, or in the case of malfunctions not mentioned
here, please contact your authorised Customer Service.
Faults during charging
Battery pack does not charge, display is off - red in-
dicator light on the charger lights up continuously
The battery pack is completely discharged or defective.
1. Wait and see if the display shows the remaining
charging time after a while.
If the display remains off then the battery pack is de-
fective.
2. Replace the battery pack.
The charger is defective.
