10. Solution for retrospective installation

A suction line can be installed in retrospect
- in a corner of a room
- in a closed down fireplace
- in planned panelling (on the wall and/or ceiling)
- in a ventilation shaft
Proceed as follows to install the suction line in a corner of the room:
1. Make the necessary breakthrough for the suction line
to the required points
The diameter of the drill hole (drill diameter › socket diameter)
must be minimum 66 mm for HT pipes (DN 50).

2. Lay the pipe line system
3. Fit the vacuum sockets temporarily, check function
and determine the dimensions for the inner construc-
tion work and outer panelling.
– The vacuum sockets are to be installed approx. 700 mm above
the floor.
4. Mark position of vacuum socket on the outer panel-
ling and drill a hole for vacuum socket
– Suitable useable material: e.g. Rigips, chipboard, sectional board,
aluminium sheeting, HDF boards, stainless sheet steel, etc.

5. Produce and fit subconstruction for outer
panelling
– Suitable materials: Roofing slates, aluminium brackets, sheet steel
brackets.
6. Fit outer panelling and fasten, paint or hang
wallpaper same
7. Fit vacuum sockets
