8. Plaster-mounted vacuum socket

The following is to be noted when planning the installation of a
THOMAS plaster-mounted vacuum socket:

9. Fire protection

If the suction line (HT-DN 50) is to be routed through fire protection
bulkheads this will generally mean that lip seals (cuffs) have to be
used.
Note: Please refer always the local fire protection
authorities for details and stipulations.
– The underside of the pipe must be ca. 15 mm away from the wall.
– The pipe is always to be connected from the top.
The THOMAS ROKU fire protection cuff (R90) fulfils the regulations
for use in ceilings and walls (F90) and is only available as special
accessory.
