5.6 Connection details, control cable
Connection system, suction boxes
When the pipe network is being installed for the first time a control cable (low voltage, 24 V, min. 2 x 0.75²) must be laid to each suction box
(with control cable contact).
– Control module, SM 24 V
(in Switzerland SM 24 V-CH, max. 10 A)
The socket outlet with grounding contact (230 V, 16 A Europe/
CH 10 A) must be available for the control module on the building
site at a maximum distance of 5 m away from the central vacuum
cleaner.
