Application
The DoorCom Analog DCA 612-...
in a 6-grid switch panel housing is
used as an interface between a
Siedle door communication system
in the wire-saving 1+n system and
the analogue telephone connection
of a telecommunication system.
The DCA 612-... behaves towards
the door in precisely the same way
as an HTS/HTC 711-... and is bound
by the same system limitations
(number of subscribers, range). The
power supply to the DCA 612-...
must take place exclusively via the
NG 602-... or the TR 602-.... The
DCA 612-... can be operated in the
countries D, GB, F, I, NL, DK, CH and
A and must always be connected to
a standardized a/b output (as per
TBR-21). Siedle recommends always
connecting the DCA 612-... to an
analogue a/b port (in accordance
with TBR) of a telecommunication
system.
Note!
Participants can be called by dialing
DTMF or Flash.
Participants must be able to dial
DTMF.
Up to 3 call buttons are managed
by the DCA 612-.... For each of the
three connected call buttons, an
optional call number can be issued
(max. 22 digits). Door release and
light actuation take place by means
of multiple frequency dialling.
A switching / remote control inter-
face DCSF 600-... can be integrated
into the DCA 612-..., making
available 3 floating outputs and 3
inputs via optocoupler. If there are
several DCA 612-... units existing in
the system, each must have a sepa-
rate power supply.
Remark relating to the
declaration of conformity
We, S. Siedle & Söhne hereby
declare that this device is in agree-
ment with the underlying require-
ments and other relevant stipu-
lations of the 1999/5/U directive.

This device is used for communi-
cation between public telephone
networks. It can be operated in
those European networks which
correspond to the TBR-21 standard.
Please contact your dealer or
telephone provider if you are not
sure whether your telephone
connection is TBR-21-compatible.
Conductor routing
In order to comply with the General
Safety Requirements for telecommu-
nication systems as laid down by
VDE 0100 and VDE 0800, and to
avoid interference, ensure that heavy
and light current conductors are
separately routed. See also the rele-
vant national regulations. A distance
of 10 cm must be observed.
The conductor from the door loud-
speaker must be laid directly to the
main terminal box without
branching.
Note!
Electrical devices may only be
installed and mounted by
suitably qualified electricians.
Range
The maximum range between the
NG 602-... and the DCA 612-... is
20 m with a 0.8 mm core diameter.
In case of greater distances, the
DCA 612-... must be separately
supplied via an additional
NG/TR 602-...
Installation

z) Range
The maximum range between the
NG/TR 602-... and the DCA 612-...
is 20 m with an 0.8 mm core
diameter.
The supply line must be laid directly
from the NG/TR 602-... to the
