It is recommended to rinse the coffee maker before the first use. The coffee
maker should also be rinsed after a longer period of time without use. Refer
to the instruction in the "Cleaning and maintenance" chapter.
Use the appliance as if it were about to make an espresso coffee but
without any coffee, so as to flush through all of the internal parts of the
coffee maker.
There may be noise and no water comes out when pump the water at the
first time, it is normal, you should turn the steam regulator to the opening
position to release the air in the appliance. After about 20s, the noise will
disappear and the water will come out.
You cannot brew espresso if you have not flushed the machine at first; the
flushing cycle causes the boiler to fill with water. If you have not used the
machine for a few days, you have to flush it with fresh water before you use
it again.
Preparation of Espresso Coffee
To make a cup of good hot Espresso coffee, we recommend you preheat the
appliance before making coffee, including the filter holder, filter and cup, so
that the coffee flavour cannot be influenced by the cold parts.
1. Make sure that all buttons are in the "OFF" position and that the steam
control knob is closed by turning it clockwise.
2. Open the tank cover and pour water into it, the water level should not
exceed the "MAX" mark in the tank. Then close the water tank cover.
