IMPORTANT: when pressing an activation command on the remote control WL04TC, the first visualisation of the LED indi-
cate the current status of the system and not what it has just been required.
Pressing the button the status system can be required.
Managing wireless sirens and telephone dialler
In case you should configure a siren or dialer is necessary to connect the input
IN2 to the panel. If the panel gives a signal +12 V reference fails, we recommend
the installation of a resistance of 820 Ω between IN2 and GND. If you run this con-
nection is not possible to connect other devices on the alarm reference terminal of
the control panel. If you have any sirens or wired diallers you need to use another
output (eg alarm relay).
TROUBLE MODE
In the TROUBLE mode you can check the status of the 4 zones of the interface. To access this mode follow the steps below:
1. From the normal operating mode press the LEARN button;
2. Check the following table to verify the type of problem detected in the system:
Led Z1 ÷ Z4
Red
Orange
Green
OFF
3. Press LEARN button to return to NORMAL functioning mode.
RESET
The interface allows two different types of reset, partial or total:
Partial reset:
This procedure delete all the devices acquired in a specific zone:
1. Access the LEARN mode by pressing for 3 seconds the LEARN button;
2. Pressing the LEARN button move on the zone that will be reset, its LED will light orange;
3. Keep press the RESET button for 3 seconds;
4. The interface confirm the reset through some BEEPs;
5. The Led of the reset zone will light orange;
ATTENTION: If the LED corresponding to the zone is green press again the RESET button.
6. To exit the Learn mode, press the LEARN button until only the green led is on. (Fig. 1.1)
Total reset:
This procedure allows to restore the interface to its factory settings:
1. Enter NORMAL mode;
2. Press simultaneously the LEARN and RESET buttons for 3 seconds, it will be a BEEP;
3. The interface confirm the reset through some confirmation BEEP;
4. The system returns to normal operation mode with just one led green on.

APPLICATIONS

The MOD-WL04 can be used on a large number of wired control panels in order to extend their potential. The following are
examples of practical applications of the module:
1. Activation of a control panel by remote control functionality can be implemented only if the panel has an input configured
as a "key" (eg Defender 64, CE64T, Solution16, CE16T).
2. Using wireless sensors on a control panel without masonry and cabling the installation of new devices such as sirens,
magnetic contacts, smoke detectors, infrared, barriers and telephone dialers.
TABLE OF DEVICES
The interface allows to acquire up to 32 devices of Defender WL04 series, divided by type or position in up to 4 zones; to
keep track of these devices is always advisable to fill the table in the last page of this manual. Here is an example:
