TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

SYMPTOMS
1. Float valve

PROBABLE CAUSES
CORRECTIVE ACTION
A. Attach refill tube to overflow pipe above the
water line.
B. Inspect, clean and, if necessary, replace flapper
ball and/or seat.
C. Replace seat.
D. Move housing assembly to proper position.
E. Adjust flapper chain assembly for proper slack.
A. Clean valve seat//seat washer, or replace
piston/seat washer assembly.
B. Replace valve assembly.
C. Reposition sensor wire.
A. Adjust water tank level.
A. Clean valve seat/seat washer, or replace
piston/seat washer assembly.
A. Adjust tank water level.
B. Unclog trapway; clean rim holes.
C. Clear obstruction from soil pipe or vent.
D. Open supply shut-off valve.
A. Replace batteries with two D-size 1.5 volt
Alkaline batteries.
B. Completely raise seat against tank surface for at
least 20 seconds, then lower to toilet rim.
C. Reattach or relocate activation sensor.
D. Replace with required Peacekeeper seat.
E. Replace housing assembly.
