2. Make sure that all items listed in the parts lists are included.
3. Inspect the parts carefully to make sure the compressor was not damaged while shipping.
4. Do not discard the packaging material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the tool.
WARNING! If any part is missing, do not operate the tool until the missing parts are replaced. Failure to do so
could result in serious personal injury.
OPERATION
1. The coupling of the suction pipe to the pump must be tight and reliable without any leaks.
2. Install a filter screen on the suction pipe inlet to protect from impurities being sucked into the pump and
sticking to or damaging the impeller.
3. Prime the pump until water overflows.
4. Do not run the pump at high speed until after it has been primed.
5 Drain the pump before storing.
FITTING A HOSE TO THE INLET PIPE
Set the rubber hose on the connector of inlet pipe. Ensure that it is seated over the threads and secure it with
stainless steel hose clamps.
MAINTENANCE
Air pressure and the suction head of the pump will decrease at elevated altitudes. The value of decrease can
be estimated by subtracting the local atmosphere value from the head rating.
Short and straight pipe is preferred as it can reduce unnecessary loss of pressure.
The pipeline must be supported to avoid vibration or damaging the pump. Before operating the pump,
check the connections between the pump and the pipeline to ensure there is nothing loose, and pay special
attention to leakage of the inlet pipe.
When changing the machinery seal, apply adhesive to the connection between the steel part and the pump
cover. When affixed, do not hit with force.
FITTING A HOSE TO THE INLET PIPE
