Connect the shockproof power cable
(12) to the shockproof mains socket.
The POWER switch (5) is used to
switch the amplifier on and off.
Operation
Having made the connection and after checking the cabling, only then the amplifier
can be put into operation.
Turn the volume control LEVEL (1) to
minimum (left stop).
Switch on your audio source (mixer,
active duplexer, equalizer etc.) and
the connected devices.
Turn the amplifier with the mains
switch POWER (5) on.
Adjust the volume of the audio source
to approx. 75% of the maximum vol-
ume or to the maximum undistorted
level (visible at devices with recording
level displays and the „0 dB" mark-
ing).
Now adjust the volume to the desired
maximum level using the volume con-
trols LEVEL (5).

The device is switched on when the
switch is in position ON and switched
off when in position OFF.
The appliance is still switched off.
The audio source volume control is in
the minimum position.
Switch mains to the „ON" position.
After a short switch-on-delay the
device is switched on.
The
recording
level
indicator
should, as far as possible, not exceed
the „0dB" value.
This setting enables a high signal-to-
noise ratio and gives the best audio
quality.
Please keep in mind that the maximum
volume depends on the power capaci-
ty of the loudspeakers and amplifier.
Excessive volume can damage the
loudspeakers and amplifier.
An emerging distortion easily shows an
overloading.
For connecting the loudspeakers, the amplifier is equipped with loudspeaker con-
nections and loudspeaker terminal connections.
The type of connection used does not effect performance. Use just one type of con-
nection.
For input connections always use the appropriate shielded XLR or
cinch cables. Other unsuitable cables may lead to malfunctioning.
To avoid distortion or faulty fittings and possible damage to the
appliance, always use cables from sources with the same input
and output ends (always XLR inputs to XLR outputs or cinch
inputs to cinch outputs).
The loudspeakers must be connected with double wire. Insulate
the naked wire at connecting terminals. Make sure that there are
no sharp edges which may damage the cables.
Only use loudspeakers that have a sufficient power handling
capacity (see technical data).
Connect the loudspeakers directly with the amplifier.
Do not use headphone adapters or boxes for terminal blocks! If
you are unsure about anything please contact a specialist.
Make sure that the loudspeakers have been connected in the cor-
rect polarity ie: that plus and minus signs correspond!
This amplifier has been built for a loudspeaker impedance from 4
Ohm on each channel. Do not connect loudspeakers with a lower
impedance.
Observe also the connection values in the "Technical Data".

Each channel has its own input (7 or 8), volume control (1), protective circuit (3), termi-
nal element leg and also its own loudspeaker output (10 or 11).
