MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar with European facing to 94/20/EC Class A50-1
D 4 M12 x 100 HT Bolts (Grade 10.9), Washers and Lock Washers
E 1 M12 x 100 HT Bolt (Grade 10.9), 2 Flat Washers and Nyloc Nut
F 4 M12 Plastic Bolt Caps
ZE 1 Electrical Plate (ZEP2)
For use with
CH17AQ Detachable neck option – ZQ3020. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation
FITTING
1. Lower spare wheel and attach Towbar Mainframe (A) to rear cross member using Bolts (D). Note: It may be necessary to
remove 4 bumper push studs and 2 underneath chassis rail in order to locate the crossbar correctly.
2. Attach neck option as indicated on separate Fitting Instructions, Pinch Bolt (E) and Bolt Caps (F).
3. Tighten all bolts to correct Torque as indicated below and raise spare wheel.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M12 - 95 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 – 139Nm
